Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CampaignBudget (the “Service”), operated at campaignbudget.com. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

CampaignBudget is a planning tool for political campaigns. It helps you build vote goals, identify swing precincts, and plan a budget. The Service is offered free of charge for the features available today. Some features may be offered as paid in the future and will be marked clearly when introduced.

The Service is a planning tool. It is not legal advice, financial advice, investment advice, accounting advice, tax advice, or campaign-finance compliance advice. You are responsible for complying with election law, campaign finance law, and any other rules that apply to your race in your jurisdiction.

Accounts

You may use the Service without an account. To create an account you must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must give us accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attack the Service, or are used to harm other users.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service in a way that violates any law or regulation.
Attempt to break, probe, or scrape the Service in ways that interfere with normal operation.
Use the Service to send spam, run unauthorized communications, or harvest contact information.
Reverse engineer the Service except where this restriction is barred by applicable law.
Use the Service to build a competing product by copying our content or methodology in bulk.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the campaign data and other content you create or upload. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service for you. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it to train models.

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the content you upload. Do not upload material you do not have the right to use, and do not upload personal information about voters in a way that would violate applicable privacy laws.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, brand, and editorial content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service itself except as expressly permitted by these terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Outputs of calculators are projections based on the inputs you provide and are not guarantees of any outcome.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service is capped at one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of those damages.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account by emailing info@victoryframeworks.com. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will survive.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email to account holders) before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the new terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Mahoning County, Ohio, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
