Privacy Policy

CampaignBudget is a free planning tool for political campaigns. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to keep it short and to write in plain English.

“CampaignBudget,” “we,” or “us” refers to the operator of campaignbudget.com. “You” means anyone who visits the site or uses the app, with or without an account.

Information We Collect

We collect three categories of information.

Account information. If you sign up, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google. We do not ask for or store passwords directly when you use Google sign-in.
Campaign data you create. When you build a vote goal, swing voter analysis, or budget, you enter inputs like a race type, an election date, turnout assumptions, precinct data, and spending plans. We store that data so you can return to it.
Basic usage information. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address, request time, and pages requested) for security and reliability purposes. We do not run third-party analytics or behavioral tracking on the marketing site.

How We Use Information

We use the information above to operate the service, save your work, sync it across your devices when you sign in, send you account-related email (such as a sign-in link), and improve reliability and security. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your campaign data to train models.

How We Store Information

Where your data lives depends on whether you have an account.

Without an account. Your campaign data is stored in your browser using local storage. It does not leave your computer unless you choose to export or import it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
With an account. Your campaign data is stored on our backend and protected by row-level security so that only you can read or write your records. We use Supabase as our database and authentication provider.

Third-Party Services

We use a small number of vendors (sometimes called subprocessors) to run the service. Each one only receives the information needed to perform its role.

Supabase hosts our database and handles authentication.
Vercel hosts the application and serves the site.
Google provides optional sign-in. If you use Google sign-in, Google receives the fact that you signed in, and we receive the email address and basic profile fields you approve.

We do not use third-party ad networks, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking on this site.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of your account data, correct it, or delete your account at any time by emailing info@victoryframeworks.com. When you delete your account, we remove your records from our production database within 30 days, except where we are required to keep limited information (for example, to resolve a billing issue or meet a legal obligation).

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (such as the right to object to processing, request data portability, or lodge a complaint with a regulator). The email above reaches the right place for any of those requests.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We use browser local storage to save your campaign data when you have not signed in. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies on this site at this time.

Children’s Privacy

CampaignBudget is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email to account holders before they take effect.
